Star India batter Virat Kohli is the most popular cricketer on the planet, with 273 million followers on Instagram. Kohli has a large fan base that transcends geographical borders, which makes him one of India's biggest celebrities.

Apart from his cricketing acumen, the batting stalwart is also known to have a sharp business mind, as he’s invested in several brands. Kohli has used his brand value to good effect and has funded many successful startups. Being a fashion icon among youth, Kohli has been the face of many clothing brands.

The cricketing superstar has invested in as many as 13 startups and has built a robust business portfolio. Here are three well-known companies where Kohli has invested:


1. Digit Insurance

In 2020, Virat Kohli and his Bollywood actor wife Anushka Sharma invested Rs 5 Crore in Digit Insurance, a start-up begun by Kamesh Goyal. Today, Kohli also serves as the brand ambassador of the company. Digit Insurance is a digital-first insurance provider in India, founded in 2016 and headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra. It specialises in motor, health, travel, and property insurance.


2. Agilitas Sports

Kohli invested Rs 40 Crore in Agilitas Sports in December 2025, co-founded by former Puma India MD Abhishek Ganguly. Agilitas is a sportswear and athleisure company, and it also acquired One8, the sportswear brand co-created by Kohli. The Indian cricketer acquired a 1.94 per cent stake in the company, joining as an investor and co-founder of One8.


3. Rage Coffee

Virat Kohli invested in Rage Coffee, a Delhi-based FMCG Company that manufactures, markets, and distributes innovative packaged coffee products in March, 2022. He also served as the brand ambassador of the company, which was launched in 2018.
