Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a must-win fixture on Monday, May 18, at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. CSK are coming into the fixture, having lost their last match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side is placed sixth on the IPL 2026 points table with 12 points from as many games.

On the other hand, SRH will be playing after a gap of six days, having lost their last fixture against Gujarat Titans (GT) by 82 runs. The Pat Cummins-led side is comfortably placed third on the points table with 14 points from 12 matches and will look to get a step closer to qualification with a win in the upcoming fixture.
