Match Preview
Delhi Capitals (DC) and Gujarat Titans (GT) lock horns in the 14th match of Indian Premier League 2026 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday, April 8.
DC have had a fantastic start, winning two out of two games against LSG and MI, respectively. It was Sameer Rizvi who played a major role in his team's success in both the matches as DC look like a serious contender early on.

GT, on the other hand, have lost both their matches, but the silver lining for the team management is the way they fought despite going down. On both the occasions, there were moments when someone stepped up and tried to bring the team out of trouble and towards victory.
As for team news, DC look settled and would not look to make any changes with just two matches having been played. GT would see their captain Shubman Gill back in the team after Sai Sudharsan confirmed that the full-time skipper is fit to play. Gill had suffered muscle spasms in his neck and missed out on playing the previous match. The weather could play spoilsport though as Delhi is going through a period of unseasonal rains.

Players to watch out for in DC vs GT
Sameer Rizvi (DC)
The right-hander is in sublime form and has played two game-changing and match-winning innings of unbeaten 70 against LSG and 90 against MI. The 22-year-old showed maturity and resilience as a batter in the previous match on a tricky wicket and it augurs well for DC for the next game which is also in Delhi.
Kagiso Rabada (GT)
Rabada has bowled a couple of effective spells in the first two matches. The South African looked a little rusty in the first match though but the right-armer produced a more effective all-round performance against RR next. Most notably, when the game looked gone from GT's hands Rabada played a magnificent cameo of unbeaten 23 to almost take his team home.
Today's Match Prediction: Delhi Capitals to win
