Mumbai Indians (MI) will look to return to winning ways as they take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Match 41 of the Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026) on Wednesday, April 29 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Hardik Pandya-led side has failed to gain any momentum whatsoever, having just two wins out of seven games in the season so far.

On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are coming into the game on the back of four successive victories. The Pat Cummins-led side will look to further continue their winning momentum against listless MI, who’ll be desperate to bounce back after losing the last three fixtures at their home ground.

Players to watch out for in MI vs SRH

Travis Head

The SRH opener has had a quiet campaign so far, having scored 186 runs from eight innings at an average of 23.25 and a strike rate of 143.07 with no half-centuries to his name. As SRH move ahead into the tournament, it’s imperative that Head finds his form and gets some runs under his belt with the bat.

AM Ghazanfar

The off-spinner is the leading wicket-taker of the season for MI with eight scalps to his name from five innings at an average of 18.12 and an economy of 8.61. With MI struggling to stop the opposition in the middle overs, Ghazanfar will hold the key for his side as the hosts look to revive their campaign.
