Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) lock horns in the 16th match of Indian Premier League 2026 at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Friday, April 10.
RR and RCB are the teams to beat with both the franchises being unbeaten and showing immense prowess to be playoff contenders already. RR have annihilated CSK at home, showed resilience to win a close game against GT in Ahmedabad, and shocked MI with an onslaught which will be remembered by their fans for years to come.
On the other hand, RCB rocked SRH in the opener and, despite a 202-run target, they romped home with wickets in hand and overs to spare. While most of the attention has been on how Vaibhav Sooryavanshi goes about his business, Jaiswal has done a commendable job nonetheless. The southpaw's blistering unbeaten 77 off 32 balls in the previous match against MI highlighted the importance of having the 24-year-old in the batting order.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar (RCB)
The old workhorse quietly brings in the breakthroughs for his teams and the 36-year-old did the same in the last match against CSK which witnessed 457 runs being scored. Bhuvneshwar picked up three wickets with his smart variations and helped RCB close out the game with 43 runs still in the bank. The right-armer cannot be discounted and his experience will come in handy against the aggressive Royals opening pair.
