Match Preview
Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants lock horns in the 10th match of IPL 2026 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday, April 5.
SRH registered a big win in the last match against KKR by 65 runs as the Hyderabad franchise came back on track after losing to RCB in the opener. It was a near all-round performance as several players stepped up and contributed towards a dominating win.

On the other hand, LSG suffered a defeat against DC mainly due to their insipid batting performance. The bowlers tried their best to make a match out of the 142-run target but Sameer Rizvi and Tristan Stubbs nullified their spite.
SRH would be going into this game with the same set of players unless the potential conditions compel the management to tweak the line-up. For LSG, it's been just one match which went badly and major changes, if any, are not expected from their end.

Players to watch out for in SRH vs LSG
Abhishek Sharma (SRH)
Abhishek played a handy innings of 48 runs off 21 balls against KKR and the Travishek pair fired for the first time in the season. The southpaw has a fantastic record at this ground - 521 runs in 19 innings at an average of 30.64 and a strike rate of 204.31. Notably, his highest score of 141(55) in the league also came at the RGIS against PBKS last year. All in all, the signs are there for the 25-year-old to provide a rapid start to SRH once again.
Prince Yadav (LSG)
Prince bowled a fiery first spell against DC in the first match which brought the right-arm speedster wickets off two consecutive balls. The second one, especially, was a peach of a delivery which hurried Axar Patel and left his stumps rattled. The 24-year-old registered figures of 2/20 off three overs and appears to be in rhythm. The SRH top order should be wary of the pacer.
