Arshdeep Singh IPL Salary: Year-wise earnings from 2019 to 2026

Arshdeep Singh was the difference between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI) when the two sides crossed swords at the Wankhede Stadium in match No. 24 of IPL 2026 on April 16.

On a belter of a wicket in Mumbai, the left-arm seamer returned figures of 3/22 in his four overs at a praiseworthy economy rate of 5.50. He bowled 13 dot balls in his four-over spell, which amounts to a dot ball percentage of 54.2%. It is quite remarkable considering he also bowled to Quinton de Kock, who batted at a strike rate of 186.66 and scored a 60-ball 112*.

But perhaps the highlight of his spell was the batters he got rid of. Arshdeep dented the hosts early by getting rid of Ryan Rickelton and Suryakumar Yadav on consecutive balls in the third over.

He came back later in his spell and disturbed the timber of Mumbai's power-hitter Sherfane Rutherford (1) before he could inflict any damage. Arshdeep, 27, is the leading wicket-taker for Punjab this season. He has snared five scalps in as many games at an economy rate of 9.50 and an average of 34.20.

He seems to have picked up from exactly where he left off the previous season. Arshdeep had finished as the top wicket-taker for Punjab last season and was fifth overall with 21 wickets in 17 matches at an average of 24.66 and an economy of 8.88.

Notably, this is Arshdeep's eighth consecutive season at Punjab. He is one of the very few players who have represented only one franchise in the tournament. He was bought by Punjab (then Kings XI Punjab) at the 2019 auction for INR 20 lakhs.

Arshdeep received the same amount for three years running. His IPL earnings saw an uptick of 1900% when he was paid INR 4 crore to play the 2022 season.

His earnings witnessed a further jump of 350% when Punjab paid him INR 18 crore for the 2025 IPL season.
